For those who consider themselves healers, what is your process? For those who have healed, what is your process? Is the process of remote healing different?
Many believe that humanity is moving toward a model of healing in which personal relationships, emotions, meaning, and belief systems are viewed as fundamental points of connection between body, mind, spirit, society, and nature. Integral medicine embraces the recognition that human beings possess emotional, spiritual, and relational dimensions that are essential in the diagnosis and treatment of disease and the cultivation of wellness.

Good food for thought. I think as with most things, the answer lies somewhere in the middle.
As a nurse, I've seen the trends changing and a new focus on complementary therapies and research - self help is mandatory if we're to stay or get well.
I have a lot of self help topics on my blog, because I think it's the whole person that needs to be addressed - and we're all unique.
I think it's fantastic that as a society we are in general starting to look at causes rather than symptoms. It also makes logical sense to me, that if any aspect of our being is out of balance, be it our emotional and spiritual life, or our physical bodies, then illness will emerge in some way shape or form. There is no denying the connection between our emotional selves and our physical wellbeing.
I am not a healer, however quite a few people have told me that I am one. I have always been interested in learning, but I have no clue how or where to learn?
Do you have any advice?
Thank you in advance.
Catherine, there is a link on the right of this blog page called IONS Digital Library. The digital library has a search feature. If you search "healing" you will find a wealth of information. Hope this helps. Thanks for your post.
